About our Bed and Breakfast

Kaulbach House has been tastefully restored and is a Registered Heritage Property (c1880). Each of the guest rooms in this B&B has a flat screen tv, aircon, coffee and tea making facilities, free wifi and en-suite shower room. We have free on-site parking right in the centre of the historic old town allowing you the convenience of strolling around town during your entire stay in Lunenburg

Being located in the centre of the town, all the main attractions are within walking distance, from the Fisheries Museum and the harbour side to the three beautiful churches just a couple of streets away. Stroll along tree lined streets and explore heritage houses, antique shops and galleries.

We offer a healthy breakfast with fresh fruit, selection of cereal, yogurt along with a cooked dish. We try to use local produce as much as possible such as handmade sausages from a local butcher, coffee roasted on Lincoln street and muffins made in our kitchen. For tea drinkers we have TeaPigs for a great start to the day

Directions to our Bed and Breakfast

If you coming to Lunenburg from Halifax or Bridgewater you will enter the old town along Lincoln Street

Just drive along Lincoln street and you’ll see the B&B's car park at 204 Lincoln Street. To get to the front of the house turn right and right again onto Pelham Street and continue until you reach Kaulbach House at number 75.

The Owner

Aletha moved from Hong Kong to Lunenburg in 2016. Originally from Newfoundland, she has returned to the Maritimes where she hopes to create a friendly and modern B&B, a place where people can feel at home.
